Manuel Aguilar Mora is professor at the Autonomous University of México City (UACM), member of the Socialist Unity League (LUS). In 1968, he was a member of the Philosophy and Letters Committee with José Revueltas, Luis González de Alba, and Roberto Escudero. He was the founder of the Workers Revolutionary Party (PRT). He is the author of numerous books on the political and social history 
of México.
