Nancy Welch

Nancy Welch is professor of English at the University of Vermont where she helped organize the union representing full- and part-time faculty. Her books include Living Room: Teaching Public Writing in a Privatized World, and The Road from Prosperity. She is the recipient of a Richard Ohmann Award for Outstanding Article in College English for “We’re Here and We’re Not Going Anywhere: Why Working-Class Rhetorical Traditions Still Matter.”
