Steven Salaita is US scholar, author, and public speaker currently holding the Edward W. Said Chair of American Studies at the American University of Beirut. He is the author of a number of books, including Uncivil Rights: Palestine and the Limits of Academic Freedom (2015) and Israel's Dead Soul (2011).
